Everton Park SHS Trip to Borneo 2010
The Brisbane North District RSL in association with the Gaythorne RSL Sub-Branch supported the Everton Park State High School’s special expedition to Borneo in September 2010. Three teachers and five students volunteered to trek through the Borneo jungle, live with the villagers and undertake a community project. They also visited the ANZAC Sandakan Memorial and Orang-utan Rehabilitation Centre.
