Remembrance Day Writing Competition Awards 2010
The Gaythorne Sub-Branch once again held a Remembrance Day Writing Competition for schoolchildren in the local area. Entrants were asked to write about the significance of the poppy. An awards night was held Monday 8 November 2010 and the winning schools comprised Our Lady of Dolours, Prince of Peace, St Andrew’s School, Our Lady of the Assumption and St Columba’s Primary.
